Dave Smythe, along with his wife Lynn Carmichael, founded Ontario Vintage Market in 2018, which currently runs at Evergreen Brick Works in Toronto, Ont.

Dave is a lifetime collector of many things and always learning as a student of old items. For 33 years, he and Lynn have seen the many sides of the retail antique and vintage business, from shows and markets to a physical store.

Dave maintains there is nothing that compares to selling the goods you love face to face with your end customer, and to being with your community of vendors to learn and grow from. Priceless. That, along with providing an affordable venue for vendors to sell at in Canada's largest city, was the main thrust for creating Ontario Vintage Market.
