Promotions are a powerful part of selling, but they only work if people notice them. That’s where marketing comes in.

In this interactive, hybrid workshop, we rolled up our sleeves to create real-time sales promos you can actually use in your shop.

The session started with a quick refresher on the key ingredients of high-impact sales copy — whether for inboxes or Instagram feeds — including how to hook attention and create urgency. Then, it was time to get to work.

Participants can choose one of two activities:

  • Those already using email marketing write a shop promo to send to their list.
  • Those not yet using email craft a compelling social media post or ad promoting their shop or a specific event.

The bulk of the session was all about focused writing time followed by feedback and fine-tuning in a supportive group setting.

Sellers who watch this replay walk away with a complete (or nearly complete) sales promo ready to hit send or post — plus new confidence in how to market their sales in a way that feels authentic, clear and engaging.

With the right structure, writing your next promotion doesn’t have to be a pain. In fact, it can be kind of fun.
