Workshop: Join us Nov. 12 to get advice on sustainably running your shop

Progress

Robyn Hobbs, founder of Le Prix, joins the Vintage Sellers Community to discuss sustainable business practices she's implemented in her 12-year career as a reseller

Whether you consider sustainability important to your shop or you have some other big "why" for doing what you do, are you sufficiently communicating it to your potential customers?

We're excited to bring in Robyn Hobbs, founder of Le Prix Fashion & Consulting, a curated secondhand clothing shop in Kitchener, Ont., and a sustainability advocate, to talk about sustainable practices (from "green" ones to business ones) — and how to connect with customers over them.

Robyn Hobbs is the founder of Le Prix Fashion & Consulting, an award-winning, female-founded and disabled-owned business that champions sustainability, self-love and the empowerment of women.

With undergraduate degrees in environmental studies and business administration, and a master’s degree in environmental studies, Robyn combines her knowledge of sustainability and business to drive impactful change.

Since founding Le Prix in 2012 during her undergraduate studies, Robyn has traveled the world researching secondhand fashion to curate premium thrifted pieces that are both eco-conscious and stylish.

Under her leadership, Le Prix has achieved carbon-neutral online orders, diverted over 3.2 tonnes of waste from landfills, and helped incubate other small businesses committed to sustainable practices. Le Prix’s work also aligns with and supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, furthering its global impact.
