Karen’s love for vintage fashion blossomed during her high school years in the 90s. She would spend her lunch breaks exploring quaint thrift stores, filled with the nostalgic scents of mothballs and subtle perfumes. It was dreamy.

Alongside her reluctant father, she ventured into the bustling secondhand stores of Kensington Market, hunting for eclectic pieces from the ’40s and ’70s.

As her collection grew, Karen felt the desire to share her passion with others and, in June 2023, she opened Park Plaza Vintage, a charming store in Saint John, New Brunswick. Offering affordable men’s and women’s vintage clothing spanning all decades, it beautifully combines Karen’s artistic expression, sustainability values, and love for timeless fashion.
