A graduate of the Carleton University School of Journalism and Communications, Cate Brown has over 15 years of experience reporting hard news, lifestyle and fashion stories from France to Toronto and Switzerland to Monaco. Her international insights give her a global overview when telling her stories.
When not writing for The Vintage Seeker, Cate loves painting abstract female nudes in the cubism style as she is influenced by the painted works of Picasso and Matisse and the sculptural works of Constantin Brancusi and Antony Gormley. Cate lives in the nation’s capital with an inspiring view of the Ottawa river that moves her to write daily.
